The Society of Composers & Lyricists (SCL) is the largest single group of music creators in the entertainment industry. Their Composers, Lyricists and Songwriters create the music for film, television, commercials, gaming and a variety of other new media productions. They control music department budgets and make all related purchase, rental, and hiring decisions. Their membership contains all SCL Awards voters, and the majority of the Music voters at the Emmy and Academy Awards.
