The Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild (MUAHS, IATSE Local 706) is the official labor union for their crafts in film, television, commercials, music videos, theater, gaming and even Disneyland Theme Parks. These artists choose the make-up, hair and special effects products used on actors, and create the designs for their characters that set beauty trends and influence millions of consumers around the globe. The membership contains all MUAHS Awards voters, and the majority of the Make-Up and Hair Stylist voters for the Emmy and Academy Awards.
