FOR THE 2016 ANNUAL AWARDS CELEBRATING ARTISTIC EXCELLENCE
Awards Ceremony Set for February 20, 2016 at Paramount Studios
LOS ANGELES, September 28, 2015 – The Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild (MUAHS, IATSE Local 706) today announced nominations for the Lifetime Achievement Awards honoring both make-up artists and hair stylists outstanding achievements in motion pictures, television, commercials and live theater. The black tie Awards gala will be held Saturday, February 20, at Paramount Studios Theatre, Hollywood. The announcement was made today by Sue Cabral-Ebert, President of IATSE Local 706.
The Make-Up Artists Lifetime Achievement Nominees are Bernadine Anderson, Leonard Engelman, Ve Neill, Maurice Steinand Michael Westmore. The Hair Stylists Lifetime nominees are Judy Crown, Renate Leuschner, Martin Samuel, Robert Louis Stevenson and Yolanda Toussieng. One winner from each category will be honored as the 2016 Lifetime Achievement Award recipients at the Awards gala.
Online voting for the Lifetime Achievement Awards will begin on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 by all eligible members of the IATSE Local 706 Guild. Winners will be announced on November 15, 2015. Submissions of qualified entries will also begin online on Tuesday, October 13.
